What is Share Cart?
Share Cart lets your customers share their cart with friends and family. The app adds a Share Button to your cart page (by default it reads Share a link to your cart). When a customer clicks it, the Share Pop-Up opens with a link to their cart that they can copy or share on social media. Anyone who opens the link sees the same cart, ready to check out.

What You Can Do With Share Cart#
With the Starter Plan#
- Show a Share Button on your cart page that opens the Share Pop-Up.
- Install it automatically as an app embed in your theme, or place the button yourself with manual embedding.
- Let customers share their cart on Facebook, Messenger, X, Tumblr, Pinterest, WhatsApp, Reddit and email.
- Apply one of five pre-built themes, then change colors, fonts, sizes, icons and text, or add your own CSS.
- See your changes live in the Design Preview while you edit.
- Set shared links to expire after a number of visits or a length of time.
- Show the Share Button only to logged-in customers, or only to customers with certain tags.
- Let customers add a personal message to the cart they share.
- Add order note attributes to orders placed through shared carts.
- Track total cart shares, shared link clicks and the revenue from shared carts.
With the Pro Plan#
Pro includes everything in Starter, plus incentives:
- Give referrers (the customers who share their cart) a discount for sharing.
- Give recipients (the friends who open the shared link) a discount when they check out.
- Use automatic discount codes created by the app, or your own manual discount codes.
- Set minimum spend and minimum quantity conditions.
- Design how the discounts appear on the Share Button, in the Share Pop-Up and on the shared cart.

Note: Cart sharing stays off on your storefront until a plan or free trial is active.
